Rip-Off Lentil Soup
This is the closest I have come so far to emulating the Lentil soup from Holy Land Cafe:
2 cups Lentils
1 container Sprouts Vegetable Broth
Too much water. Use slightly less water or slightly more lentils next time.
1 teeny pinch of saffron
1 sprinkle of curry powder
1 teeny sprinkle of Penzey's tandoori seasoning
So much fresh ground black pepper
Heat 1 tbsp oil and 1 tbsp butter on Saute function in InstantPot
Saute finely diced onion until bored with that.
Add all the above stuff.
Manual in InstantPot for 20 minutes.
Puree.
Salt to taste.
Drink out of mug repeatedly like crazy person.
